Question 1: What is VIP membership? Answer: The Lifestyle V.I.P World is exclusive for Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club members and member's guests only. The membership includes member's only amenities and services such as bars, lounges, cafe, restaurant, entertainment, promotions which make vacation become special. Question 2: What is the 'all-inclusive' fee? Answer: All-inclusive fee is a mandatory charge set up by the resort. The *fee is $40.00 per person/per day. Children between the ages of 3 and 12 years are 1/2 price, per child/per day. Villas all-inclusive fee is $47.50 per person/per day. Children between the ages of 3- 12 years are 1/2 price, per child/per day. The all-inclusive fee includes unlimited food and drinks. * As of Sept. 15th, 2009, the cost of the all-inclusive will be $ 47.50 per person/ per day for jr. suites up to 2bedroom penthouses. The cost for Villa's will be $ 57.50 per person/ per day. Children 3- 12 will be 1/2 price.Question 3: If I want to stay in a condo instead of villa, would the service be different? Answer: No, because you are the guest of a VIP member and eligible for all membership perks. Question 4: Does every villa have its own pool? Answer: Yes, every villa has its own private pool. Question 5: If only two people travel, can we reserve a 5-bedroom villa? Answer: No. The villas are arranged based on the number of people staying. In circumstance where only one couple travels 3 bedroom villas are reserved. Question 6: Is the Internet available in the villa? Answer: No, but there is free Internet in the lobby of VIP check-in. Question 7: How do I get to the resort? Answer: We will arrange an airport pick up for you.Question 8: How much are airport transfers? Answer: Transfer from Puerto Plata (POP) airport is FREE. Puerto Plata is 1/2 hr from the resort. Transfer from Santiago (STI) airport varies by the number of people, but generally a couple pays $70. Santiago is approximately 1 and 1/2 hrs from the resort.Question 9: Are taxi's expensive? Answer: Taxis are quite expensive. Airports have boards outside the airpost listing the cab fares to various places. These prices are generally not negotiable. Question 10: Can I rent a car? Answer: Car rentals are readily available, but it is not generally recommended to rent a car. There are no "rules of the road" in the DR, and driving can be hazardous. Insurance is also non-existent. If you decide to rent a car, be careful!
